Fresh bottle from the brewery. Bottled Aug 20 2013. Served from a 500ml bottle into a Chimay Goblet.
A- Hazy yellowish gold with a fluffy head of bone white foam and nice lacing.
S- Some nice toasty malt aromas with hints of spices and citrus fruit as well as the slight touch of Banana in the nose.
T- Ripe banana, touch of pepper as well as clove, hint of sugar, some citrus fruit, pretty Flavorfull with a nice malty backbone and hops noticed through out add some nice bitterness to the brew. Citrus in the finish. Apon pouring the slight sediment remaining in the bottle into the glass, the nice Banana and spice notes become much more pronounced.
M- The body is medium and carbonation is spot on for the style.
D- this is a highly drinkable brew
Overall this is a great beer and as of now probably my favorite from GRB. Or at least tied with The 2007 Jubilation, Highballer Pumpkin Ale and the unfortunately retired Town Hall Lager. I like the direction GRB is taking. Not just sticking to the same English style ales and starting to expand their portfolio slightly.

Picked up 4 fresh bottles from the brewery this afternoon. This one poured a bright yellow with a foamy head leaving much lace. Smell was nice and spicy, definitely reminiscent of a Belgian ale. Taste is of malt and spice, it's definitely not as full bodied as it's true Belgian counterparts but the flavor profile is still there. I found it to be rather smooth and easy to drink.
I found this one to be pretty nice. I'd certainly get this one again.

The Rhino summer fest. Some yeast and very light spice. An idea perhaps that needs more execution. Above average mouthfeel. Light whitish colour, very lacy. Not so drinkable ( I saved myself completing the good sized portion).Unoffensive and not so interesting, with low carbonation.
