Bottle picked up somewhere in London. (Sainsbury's I think). Pale golden pour, instant foamy head fades to fizz. Funky, musty, dank aroma, some cheese.. Some citrus comes out in the taste, yeast too, but its mostly more of the funky musty hops.

Pours a clear, light golden, straw coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smells of wet grass, hay and tart blackberry, with a hint of citrus and apple/pear esters coming through as well. Taste follows the nose, with a light but distinct tart blackberry note and hints of grassy hops, hay, citrus, apple/pear esters and also some light doughy malt coming through. Finishes semi-dry, with a lingering blackberry tartness. Light body, with medium/lively carbonation.
A light, refreshing Saison with a decent balance of sweetness, tartness and fruitiness. There's also a light, but slightly unpleasant mineral note to this though. Still, all in all, this is a perfectly nice and refreshing Saison, just nothing special. Decent value for money at 6€ for a bombe, plus, let's face it, this is worth buying for the label alone.

Amarillo, Mandarina Bavaria
Sweet take on a saison. Tropical hints, though those are some citrus overload hops. Not classic, but easy.

Schooner on-tap at Brewdog Doghouse, Glasgow (£4.50):
This one was a decent sour saison that was quite crisp & lively with a subtle hit of funk & tart but one that remained balanced & easy to drink. To be honest, the beer really isn't anything special despite it being drinkable & easy-going but thankfully it's a limited release from Brewdog & one that will probably not be around for too long.

L: Crystal clear golden color, one finger white head, great lacing, good carbonation.
S: Hops, spices, wine.
T: Tastes like a mix of Belgian ale and weissbier.
F: Light to medium bodied.
O: Drinkable but nothing I would seek again.
