Dark, ruby edges. Cappuccino colored foam, quite creamy on top.
At the smell toasted notes, citrussy, herbal. Very fresh and inviting.
In the taste a good toasted, then herbal, artichoke, resinous. With citrus and chinotto notes.
Average long aftertaste, with tangerine notes, a light dry fruit (almond) on a good toasted.

these guys do brett beers about as well as anyone, and this unassuming little bottle, covered in mold spots from extended storage in a leaky wet cooler, is another highly refined funky brew that seems to defy style categorization. a black ale sort of, hoppy, but kind of faded now, maybe entirely brett fermented, its really dry, effervescent, and funky, and has a totally unique taste with this brux type brett allowed to mature in the bottle with the roast and cocoa notes of the dark malt, a coffee hint there too, and the hops, which have devolved it seems to just bitterness. light acidity but way more funk than sour, not even close, a light citrus lemony note in there too, wet animal and grass, char and trace smoke, a little bit of sweeter malt in the center, lightly english for a moment, light iodine almost like a lambic too, and a vegetal property, really complex but also highly drinkable with how interesting it is, i really cant set my glass down, and the excessive carbonation makes it light for its color and malt depth. overall this is unique and delicious, part porter, part black ipa, part brett saison, de la senne has done it again!
