33cl bottle. Description on label says it is made with honey, malted wheat, and 13 herbs and spices. Poured into brewery's glass.
Very clear flaxen color. There is a light skim of foam to start which settles to nothing quickly.
The aroma is a sweet/sour mix that is common for unhopped beers (at least I think so). There's some grass and floral smells, maybe dandelions. The main smell is that sweet/sour thing, kind of reminiscent of cat pee, which is just like the yarrow homebrew I've had in the past.
The beer is quite sweet, as expected, with the sweetness pleasantly like honey. There's a good bit of wheat taste, as well. There is a pretty strong sour twang. The spices are definitely in the background, providing some complexity without being overpowering.
It's very lightly carbonated, with a somewhat thin mouthfeel.
Average drinkability for a gruit beer.
