Served on-tap in a Shaker pint glass at Beer Run (Charlottesville, VA).
A: slightly hazy orange-red amber with short quickly dissipating cap of off-white head which leaves a short fragment of lacing.
S: Nice hoppy aroma with pine, orange citrus, grapefruit, and honeysuckle elements. Light to medium caramel malt aromas. No real yeast or alcohol notes.
T: The flavor unfortunately falls pretty flat. The hoppiness just can't carry this beer as the malt backing is lacking so to speak with no substantive flavor contribution. There are some orange and grapefruit citrus malt flavors, but they are left without much counterpoint maltiness
M: The flavor was poor but the mouthfeel is really terrible -- consistency and feel of water. Not sure if this was undercarbed at the serving point or else where but the beer was missing carbonation and body.
O: A beer for a good cause but not very well-executed at all.

Poured a cloudy, orange copper body with two finger head and lace patches down glass. Aroma is mostly citric hops with minimal sweet malts although a little bread. Dry, citric infused body with a little bit of sweetness and is light and smooth. More of a hoppy amber ale than anything else. Not bad, but wish the hops were more in tune with malt presence rather than just overpowering.
