Pours a dark brown color with a several fingers thick, light tan head that takes it's time to slowly fade away. Smell is a little faded, spice, dark fruit, and a little malt. Taste is dark fruit, raisins, plum, a little spice towards the end. Sweet but not overpoweringly so. Smooth, a little on the creamy side, certainly doesn't feel like it's ABV. Drinks very well, certainly would work well as a holiday beer.
