Poured from a growler into a clear pint glass
A: Golden orange with thick off-white head and tons of lace
S: Even though this is the "half-nelson," there is plenty of leafy and floral hops aroma going on. Also, nice not-overly-sweet malt presence.
T: The hops wrap up the flavor with lots of leafy and citrusy notes. Malt is not left out with a great balance of the two.
M: Oily and slick like most APAs with minimal carbonation.
D: A great beer for hopheads and new-to-better beer drinkers alike. Another winner from Blue Mountain.
