Hey, it’s all good! This hazy IPA is loaded with pineapple and mango hop flavor from Azacca, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. We brewed it with a generous amount of oats and wheat for a super cloudy look and fluffy mouthfeel. Cloudy with fluffy mouthfeel from oats and wheat. Loaded with tropical hop aroma and taste from Pacific Northwest hops.

16 Oz can. Dated 13 Aug 2020
Yeah I know it's a 6 month old IPA that I'm reviewing here. But read on...

Pours a hazy golden body with a fluffy white head. Very good retention. Complete rings of lacing going down to the bottom of the glass.

Lots of pineapple at the pour. I'm also getting a little Mandarin orange along with some Mosaic hop notes. Can't place what other hops, but they are present. Fairly prominent scent overall.

Taste is a little more complex then the scent. I'm getting a melon sweetness along with the previously notes in the smell.

Medium feel. I suspect It came out of the gate a little more prickly, but time has taken away a little of the carbonation. Still it was very enjoyable with a refreshing finish

Overall; I don't usually review 6 month old IPA's and wasn't going to write this one. But the head appearance/retention and prominent scent were enough to change my mind and make me grab a notebook. I will put this on my list to try again in the summer. Bravo !

On tap in Meridian; pours hazy gold/orange, with a light layer of head lacing. Citrusy with an underlying pungency; orange juice, maybe mango? Lemon? Some piney notes as well. Nice dry grain bill, not oppressively bitter or dry; refreshing even. Not sure what hops are used in here but I like it. Floral, juicy, and citrusy.

can dated july 14, 2020

hazy golden-near-amber orange body with an excited fluffy thick bubbled white head that has moderate retention and leaves patches of sticky sudsy lacing as it settles to an uneven froth ring around the cap

smells of a sweet floral tropical citrus hop explosion with a side of pine. raw and smooth at the same time

the taste follows thru with some raw yet smooth action that leans primarily on the tropical hop but also balances neatly with the oat and wheat sweet but funky yeasted malt backer. that thing "overly" ripened strawberries and super ripe pineapple have in common? it's here in spades.

moderately carbonated with a medium body; very full feeling, but plenty smooth, with a slightly yeasty, very earthy bitter dry finish

overall:
NEIPA does Easy Sipper does slight funk on the side. yeah it's chill but also complicated and overall just super enjoyable.

Pint can served in a tall, tapered glass. Beer is, appropriately, hazy as mud with amber NE IPA goodness, and a frothy white head. Juicy, tropical punch aroma with pineapple and papaya, maybe tart mango. Flavor has a big pineapple presence with sharp citric acidity. Mouthfeel is fantastic, with just the right mix of fizz, creaminess, and juice.

An excellent NE IPA and one of my favorites from Hopworks.

cool art, looks like if two of my homies had a baby and raised it with two weird dads. anyway, the beer in the can is good too, a little raw, but these guys make nice hoppy beer and we will definitely blast off on the six pack this weekend. i should drink more beer from these guys, never jumps into my basket, but it should, im always pleased. this is a shade or two darker than most, fully hazy, and with a nice tall head from the can, white and lasting, frothy and pretty, but the beer is murky and a little dull, not visually sexy to me despite the obvious life it has. the hops have a nice fresh aroma and flavor, a curious little bit of pine with familiar citrus, perhaps a hit of strawberry and herbs if i press it, but its just a little basic, its the dosage and the marriage with the grain that make this good for me. fuller body, even for the style, and it gets heavier as it warms. average carbonation, semi dry finish, a touch of yeast to it late, a tad rugged but the flavors are right and its a robust and multidimensional hazy, im happy.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The beer is served a super hazy orange amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades fast to leave a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is of a sweet citrus smell of tangerine and orange along with having a decent showing of a grapefruit citrus hop. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of pine and herbal hop and a touch of a floral aroma.
Taste- The taste begins with a nice heavy grapefruit hop taste that is balanced by some orange citrus sweetness and a bit of a biscuit malt flavor. As the taste advances a decent hit of a pine and herbal hop come to the tongue. While these are lighter than the grapefruit upfront, they grow strong in nature as the taste advances forward and soon surpass the grapefruit hop in intensity. With a touch of hay that comes at the very end of the taste, one is left with a nice sorta crisp and decently hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average to slightly thicker in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average. For the mix of light sweetness, slightly crisper body, and decent hop the feel is pretty nice and makes for an easy drinker overall.
Overall – A rather nice hazy IPA overall with a bit of citrus hop and sweetness matched by some more dank hop to create a nice flavorful IPA.

Really like some of the offerings from this brewery and this particular hazy IPA did not disappoint. Tropical and creamy. Nicely balanced, not too bitter. Easy drinking. I will have this again.

Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a tulip glass.

Appearance: It develops a two finger head that dissolves into a foam layer that stays until the end. The lacing covers the entire glass in tick sheets. Hazy opaque, dark gold color.

Smell: Fresh hops but mainly fruit: pineapple, lemon, mango.

Taste: Very fruity, tropical, refreshing and sweet. There's pineapple candy and dried mango flavors with an oily, hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Creamy and medium bodied with high carbonation that stings the palate. A bit cloying.

Overall: It has big hoppy flavors with a lot of fruitiness but it feels artificial and more candy-like than fresh fruit which takes away from the experience.
