Brewed using fresh El Dorado hops. This Hazy Fresh Hop IPA has endless corridors of dank and resinous flavors

9/19/2020 first review. Don't really remember this beer, but I gave it high marks so it must have been good. I've always liked fresh hopped beers and can't wait for the hop harvest to begin so I can try more fresh hopped beers.

Tasty 16oz canned 9/17, poured into a pint shaker.
A: Hazed orange with a creamy off-white head, slight lace.
S: Bready, grain - piney, earthy, grassy.
T: More of the same, leaning into the green/earthy side of a hop profile without being aggressively resinous or dank.
MF: Drinkable and fluffy, not overly drying.
O: More grainy and earthy than other wet hop ales I've sampled this year from HUB. Still good, just not my favorite.

they missed a real opportunity for a great beer pun and a recipe twist here, garden maize, get it?! maybe next year. either way, im not sure anyone, save maybe fremont, is making as many different wet hop beers as these guys, and ive happily consumed all of them that i have encountered so far. this one is a hazy ipa, not overly so, but no real light coming through it, a short but dense and lasting head on top, a good looking pint from the tap. smells and tastes about the same, very resinous, even a little bit spicy to me, pine and grapefruit pith, higher alpha than a lot of wet hop stuff, and very classically northwestern to my senses, probably simcoe and centennial or even columbus hops, but i do not have the details on this unfortunately. it has a slightly sticky texture but is fermented very dry, the hops really pop on the swallow, and this drinks clean for what it is. not a ton of flavor from the pale malt, but some decent body to keep this feeling frothy, is it also very well carbonated. this is not wildly interesting from a hop profile standpoint, its very familiar, but its also very well made and a truly enjoyable drink, so no complaints. its rad how many fresh hop beers these guys are producing and that they seem pretty available in idaho. their run of releases has given me a lot more appreciation for the brewery overall!

16 oz can from Bier:Thirty. Yellow/ orange/ gold body, hazy, foamy head. Tropical fruity aroma, stone fruit. More sublime fruity flavors, gentle earthy hops, grass, meadow.

Pours a slightly hazed yellow amber with a big pile of foam in the Caution Brewing nonic. Quite aromatic with ripe melon, some orange, and a hint of lemon. Tastes of peach and apricot. Rather sweet in a nice way. Some astringency in the aftertaste with a modest dose of bitterness.
This is not too far over on the hazy end of the spectrum. Still quite drinkable and full of aromatics without the muck. Some acidity with a pleasant smack of fruit. From the 16 oz can can purchased in the far Northwest. Dated on the bottom, 19/Sep/2019.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 19/SEP/2019.
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium to small head and medium carbonation. Smell is light, fresh, fruity. Unripe mango or citrus pith.
Taste is Tropical fruit with a strong bitter finish, reminding me of cut grass and a little pine.
Mouthfeel is dry, medium bodied. Overall, good beer.
