Pours a clear light brownish color with off-white head. Caramel, alcohol, and nuts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with the same. Meh.....

Pours deep brown/ mahogany with a decent creamy, light tan but short-lived head that leaves thin creamy lacing.
Smells quite nicely of chocolate cherry cordial, but in a smooth way where hints of dark fruit cone through and hide the alcohol that lurks. Very nice here.
Taste follows the nose, with initially a pleasant chocolate malt/ cherry sting, non-descript dark fruit, but then lends hop bitterness and mineral dryness.
Feels low carbonated right for the strength of this style. Chewy and nice. Dry at the end as mentioned, even some tartness, then some burn. Medium body.
Another beer where I love certain aspects and am okay with the rest. Smells terrific and tastes good up-front. Feels velvety enough. A big brown ale done well is what we have.

Picked up a 16 oz single from TW Arrowhead in late June. Rec'd at TW 6-8-15. No canning date.
Beer poured brown with a little head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is toasted malts, hints of molasses, semi-sweet.
Taste is toasted malts, hints of sweet molasses, but there is some decent hopping to balance this out nicely.
Mouthfeel is full and viscous, very nice!
Overall this is an enjoyable beer that is definitely worth a shot.

Tad watery, alcohol is hidden, nice caramel and dark fruits. However making an imperial brown ale it seems as if a regular brown ale was made but that alcohol content is higher.
