Enjoyed on tap at Flanny's, poured in a tulip.
Syrupy, inky, waxy dark brown, like a melted licorice crayon. Thin, fizzy head of light tan.
Brilliant nose. Cocoa, burnt bread, vanilla, date, raisin, honey. Sweet, rich.
Same deal in the rich flavor. Much more booze, more from the dates. Syrupy melted chocolate, coffee, pressed raisins, toast. Lingering alcohol flavor and burn.
Syrupy medium full body, very viscous. Moderate, pinching carb. Mild bitterness, tongue numbing carb.
This will get you drunk and let you know it's doing it. So rich. Very tasty.
