Pours a pale straw color. Very light in body and flavor.

This offering is a bit thin for my taste, yet there is still a nice dry bitterness on the finish.

Reviewed on 12/18/2009. On tap at the Bethlehem location. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is of pale malt and sweet fruits. The flavor is sweet initially with a bready malt finish. Overall, this is a decent beer and certainly easy drinking.

Had on tap at BBW. Bad pour from bartender aside, very thin white head and clear golden color. Beer was crisp and very easy to drink, with little to no aftertaste. Nothing really stood out from this beer, not very much hoppiness present. As mentioned by others lacking some of the flavor expected for a cream ale. I would rather just have their valley golden ale.

A nice, simple beer, but a little off for the style. It lacks the creamy, fuller body of a good cream ale. The flavor is a nice, light caramel taste of grains that's a clean and pleasant. This cream ale doesn't go the way of some of the bigger versions of this style that are hopped-out (not that there's anything wrong with that). But this beer doesn't do much to differentiate itself from a golden ale.
