Formulated in 1913 at the original Mission Brewery, this crisp, light, and refreshing lager is more than a throwback it's a part of San Diego's legacy brought back to life.

I saw this like 5 months ago at Walmart in Lompoc CA, I didn't recognize it, so I thought I would try it, man I loved it, cook and crisp, not bitter I was able to take a big drink in the hot sun, refreshing, but strong taste than bud or Coors, really good beer, I tell everyone but Walmart no longer carries it and that really sucks do now in getting to find it all over, anyone knows where? Please drop a line, I will check their web site. This is really good beer, dinner people say well it's not as hoppy as this IPA or it's lacking this or that, Bull shyt, this is not meant to be that it's meant to be a delicious beer to drink during a BBQ, it got day or after work this is a good old American beer it's delicious and I love it, I will find it.

Drank from a 19.2 oz tall buoy can; born on 6/25/24. Tastes of sweet corn and bready malts; nothing on the nose. While a well crafted lager, nothing outstanding or distinguishable.

Slight chill haze but abundant foam in the Troubadour tulip. Aroma of grain with a musty note, not unpleasant. Sprightly with carbonation and light bodied. Some malty notes with cereal and a hint of leafy greens. There's a distinct touch of hops, which keeps this from being another industrial brew. The flavor is more of grain and malt than an Adjunct Lager. From the 19.2 oz tall can purchased at the liquor store. Dated 26 FEB 24 so it's hardly fresh, and might be worth trying another time, like on tap at one of the four Mission Brewing locations.
