Tap pour at the brewpub. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Creamy white head. Leave behind extensive webs of lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts, citrus fruit, and bitter pine.
Taste is more bitter than sweet, with flavors of grapefruit rind and pith, pine needles, and a sweet underlay of toasted malts. All flavors mellow in the aftertaste but the bitterness remains resolute.
Medium mouthfeel. Tingles from the pine needles. Very good carbonation.
West Coast IPA is the style.
