Purchased a bomber of this at Redstone Liquors in Stoneham, MA.
A- black, opaque. Thin head with minimal lacing and carbonation.
S- chocolate and roasted malts.
T- chocolate and coffee flavors come through. A little sweet vanilla. Not much pumpkin, but that is not a very strong flavor to start with.
M- nice texture could use more carbonation. A little syrupy, but fits the beer.
D- no overpowering flavors, low alcohol...great seasonal session stout!
Cody isnt about extreme beers. They make good session beers that are true to style. Great local stout.

Picked this up at Redstone Liquors in Stoneham, Mass. Never heard of these guys before but this sound's tasty. Poured from the bomber into a pint glass.
A - Pitch black body with a small circle of white head.
S - I'm really picking up on the vanilla in this beer. Smell's real sweet with a hint of dark malt and some roast.
T - Really sweet. A light bit of roast. All sugar and weird pumpkin flavor. Honestly I can't finish this. Not a fan at all.
M - medium to heavy with a fair amount of carbonation
D - Can't finish this. The taste is revolting. Way too sweet and the pumpkin flavor is strange.

Picked up a growler at the brewpub on 11.2.07; review is from notes at that time. This American Stout is dubbed as a 'vanilla pumpkin stout' by the brewer.
Served in a nonic.
Syrupy, deep brown chocolate in color, nearly opaque. Creamy, light brown head that evaporates from within leaving a ring around the nonic's edges. Thin, dimpled lacing that fades after a moment.
Sweet and creamy, lightly roasted malt character. Toffee, powdered chocolate. Fragrant cinnamon and light nutmeg. Semi-sweet fruity esters: raisin, plum with a cutting alcohol aroma.
Sweet vanilla among a mild roasted chocolate malt character. Dry, holiday spice profile: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice. Semi-sweet, earthen fruity tones: raisin, plum, date, mild pumpkin. Floral hops with a muddy character that provides a prompt bitterness.
Almost syrupy on the palate prior to the rough floral hop presence. Full in body; rather dry as the sip progresses. A nice balance in texture.
A unique and dynamic American Stout. A little too sweet to drink as a session stout, but a pleasant alternative to other stagnant, autumn releases.
