Poured a murky amber hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was very good retention and lacing.
The smell featured sweet earthy cereal grains and a grassy hop.
The taste consisted of a grainy caramel, toastsed malts and a lingering grassy bitterness.
The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side of the style.
Overall a decent balanced IPA.

A: Poured out a cloudy, deep amber color. One finger of off white head. Low retention and little lacing.
S: Dank pine and pineapple scents.
T: A lot more than the nose would've implied. Dank pine, lemon, Slightly roasted caramel malt and earthy hops.
M: Medium-light body that is clean and crisp with a medium carb.
O: A pretty good "light IPA". A little bit more on the hoppy side of the balance. The lemony tartness and roasted flavor malt make this stand out from the pack of IPAs.

Pours a nice burnt orange. Cloudy with two inches of off-white head. Not getting much a nose from this other than a bit of dirty dishwater, which carries through to the flavor. Yecch. Tinny taste with a faint hint of citrus and a bit of sweet biscuity malt, but minimal IPA bitterness at best. Oily and slick on the tongue.
Maybe I got a bad bottle? This doesn't taste like an IPA. I'm not a fan of the style, but I do like to have one every once in a while and something seemed wrong here. No bitterness and the odd metallic flavor makes me think that something went wrong here.

22oz bottle purchased as a single from somewhere localish.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/2" off-white head over the clear coppery golden brew. Head lasts well, with sticky lacing. Aroma is juicy citrus.
Taste is sweet upfront, a touch of citrus in the middle, and then comes on bitter and lemony through the close. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth, and drinkability is good as well.
