On tap at the brewery this beer, served with a lemon wedge, was a clear, golden color like ripe corn with a good amount of rising carbonation. The head was white, the retention so-so and the lacing streaky. The aroma was bright, citrus (of course), crystal malt and another lighter malt I couldn't quite place. The flavors were dry, crisp and very refreshing. I tasted Vienna malt, a very light bitterness from the Northern hops and a crisp, wheaty finish. The body was light, the carbonation good and the mouthfeel good. Well balanced and highly drinkable, one of the best summery, wheat-based ales I've tried in a while!

The beer pours a hazy gold color with a thick frothy white head that fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a nice wheat scent with a lemon zest kick and a dry fruity yeast finish. The taste is good as well. It has a nice wheat flavor with a lemony twist. It goes down smooth and refreshes. It is crisp on the finish and has good mouthfeel. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a fine American wheat ale. It refreshes with excellent aroma and flavor; a fine summer brew.
