Pours pale amber with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows pine, resinous hops, pear and some soft sweet clean malt.
Similar flavours. Pine, resin, spicy hops. Very little malt.
Carbonation seems a little high.
Not bad, although not what I'd expect from galaxy.

From notes.
Pours filtered yellow, slightly darker and approaching orange.
Smell is metallic fresh hops, pine, rockmelon, paw-paw. Great nose, reminiscent of Thorny Goat.
Taste is a great combination of tropical fruit (rockmelon, honeydew) and crystal? malt. Substantial lingering bitterness with a lesser sweetness.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy.
Great beer but I think the metallic aspects of Galaxy come through a lot.
Solid IPA to satisfy the cravings. Very solid NZ brewery.

500ml brown bottle purchased from Slowbeer in Melbourne.
Pours a brilliantly clear, and rather light yellow-gold colour, with a frothy, fine head of white. Lacing is excellent, carbonation fine. A solid enough body, with a pleasant slim lightness to it. Looks well-made.
Nose is hoppy, yeah... but generically hoppy—a trait I'm finding more and more common in Galaxy-hopped brews. It has a clear, slightly herbal hop character, with some pine or woody overtones and a sharp citric or pungent fruit character. Slight vanilla and banana sweetness backs this up. Pleasant, but nothing special or out of the ordinary.
Taste is a pleasant, sharp hop-filled experience, with a strong resiny presence and pronounced grapefruit bitterness on the back. Clean malt provides a slightly nutty basis, with a broad but solid body to hold it all together. It doesn't really do anything extraordinary, and perhaps doesn't even have a true complexity of flavour, but it's well-made and very solid stuff.
Yep, another decent brew from Croucher. It's perhaps a bit more disappointing than I thought it would be—there was the genuine prospect of it being exceptional, but in the end they offer solid banality. It's not a bad compromise.

Bright light orange, near crystal, with a moderate white head that holds its shape well. Falls gradually silently with minimal lacing to a slightly raised ring.
Palpable sweaty and oniony hop character, behind this lurks mango, cumquat, boiled candy, banana lollies, and some clean grassy and vegetal notes. Decent biscuity, savoury malty backbone.
More sweaty and fruity hop character melding with dank herbs and a clean and enticing spearmint bitterness. Very nice.
Medium, oily body with pretty approacahable mid-palate bitterness. Carbonation isn't high, but it has a bit of sizzle and bite.
Another very ably brewed offering from a brewery I have a great deal of respect for.

Brilliantly clear golden. Thin white head leaves plenty of lacing. Medium carbonation. Can't get over how clear this beer is.
Grassy spicy floral aroma. Not the big galaxy hit I was hoping for but ok.
Well gotta hand it to hose kiwis, they know how to make a dry hoppy beer. Very light malt character backed by a lasting spicy bitterness. Really light and easy to drink and that bitterness is spot on. A bit light for hop flavor but can't knock it otherwise.
There are a few NZ breweries I never hesitate in picking up, and after only one from Croucher they will be joining that list.

Brewed with our own Aussie hops this Nz brew pours a slight hazed golden hue with a one finger head that quickly resembles a head of smog across the top and some nice clingy lacing, the smell is very fruity with hints of strong pineapple, mangoes, the slightest hint of pine, boiled candy and a touch of peach very enticing smell, the mouthfeel is lightbodied and lively carbonated with tastes of fresh peaches, pineapple, mangoes, piney bitter hops,a touch of lychee, caramel candy and finished with a piney hop bitterness and overall its a nice showcase of a solid Aussie Hop and yeah id definately buy this again cheers.
