(L) Pours a crystal clear straw color with a big, billowy white head, good retention and leaves some decent lacing. This is a bottle conditioned beer, so there is sediment in the bottom and the last pours is obviously murky.
(S) The nose is all saison, bread, bisquits, toasted malt, grassy and yeast with some tart sourness in the background.
(T) On the palate, it starts of on the sweeter side being malt driven with toasted malt, bread, yeast at the start. The lacto treatment quickly comes forward though and dries the finish out ending with a nice tart punch though not completely dry.
(F) The beer has lots of carbonation and a medium body making it easy drinking and refreshing.
(O) Overall, this is a nice saison though the sour aspects are kind-of one note. A big of age may develop some complexity over time.
