Served from a can. Extraordinary head of 2/3 the glass. Tightly packed bubbles make for a slow recession of froth. Very lumpy and rocky. Lots of chunky lace left behind. The liquid is a dirty bright copper (dark gold)
Excellent blend of pale malted barley and grapefruit hop aromas. Light stone fruit in the background.
Drier than I expected. The pale malt is subdued here with a strong black pepper hop bite coming quickly. The swallow is strongest for bitterness while the aftertaste pulls back the harshness quickly but not completely. Full body with a moderate carbonation level.
