Large, four-finger head from a relatively gentle pour. Slow to settle and leaves a couple of rings and spots in between as it does. The liquid is crystal clear and straw in color. Looks like a pilsner.

Belgian smells of coriander and wheat. There's a bit of spice to the nose from the hop, but this smells more "white" than IPA.

On the taste, the Belgian elements are dominated by the strong biting, peppery hop finish. If one holds the liquid in the mouth, you can detect very pale malt. Dry and crisp. The swallow is a hop bomb with a long lingering aftertaste. Not too complex despite the two distinct flavors. Leans thin and the carbonation is ample. Overall, I'd say cut a third of the hop from the flavor profile (and perhaps have them used in the aroma portion of the brew).
