A: Typical pils color. Golden appearance with one finger of white head.

S: Buttery.

T: Once again very buttery. I feel like there is far to much diacetyl in this beer. Perhaps this is due to not a long enough mash time or boil time. Hops come through a bit but its hard to mark this beer when I can't get past the buttery flavors.

M: Very crisp mouthfeel.

O: I feel as though something was wrong with this beer and I was not drinking it how it was in intended to be served. Too bad really.

Nice hop spice flavour from the start. Finish is a little wierd as spice continues but it has a medicinal quality from the hops that completely wrecks the beer. I am a hop fan and appreciate the attempt to hop up (website does say 35 IBU) a Pilsner but that aftertaste is not conducive to drinking this.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color pilsner with a nice pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet cereal notes with light green floral aroma. Taste is a very nice and refreshing mix between some light floral hoppy notes with a nice clean cereal malt base with very subtle residual sugar notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very well brewed and a lot more complex then I had anticipated.

A- Dark yellow, and depending on the pour you can either get a lot or no head at all.

S- Soft green perfume with what seemed to be saaz hops and bubblegum.

T- Classic pilsner with some american hops.

M- Medium mouthfeel. Not the driest pilsner, but it is dry.

D- Very good. I didn't feel like drinking a pilsner today, but didn't have much problem with this growler.

Don't think this is a very good growler beer because every serving had less carbonation and the overall feel suffered a lot.

A superior malty aroma. A good bitterness, very good craftsmanship of Saaz hops. Medium mouthfeel. Yellow with low carbonation bubbles. A drying aftertaste, very natural , satisfying.
Enjoyed at Mondiale 2008, at the recommendation of Fred of Hopfenstark.
