Big thank you to Hoppypocket for this. An imperial version of a stout I really enjoyed.
Appearance. Pours a deep dark brown, black in the glass and topped with a finger of light brown head.
Smell. Dark roasted malts, coffee, and cocoa. All the good stuff. Little bit of bitter grassy hops in there too.
Taste. Dark roasted malts and black coffee followed by cocoa that lingers for a while.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, medium carbonation.
Overall. Categorizing this as a foreign/export stout is brilliant (credit to Phyl21ca). Not exactly an imperial stout (going by the extreme massiveness of imperial stouts these days) as labeled, but a nice big roasty stout that seems well hopped. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a medium dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of dry coffee notes with some roasted malt with some faint black chocolate notes. Taste is also dominated by dry coffee notes with light floral touch with some dry roasted malt with notes of black chocolate that are quite subtle. Body is about average with good carbonation. Quite a lot of character even though the ABV is quite low for the style.
