Golden tone...like Chicken McNuggets. Thin off white head. Light lacing left behind. Clarity is good. Fresh and vibrant describe this beer in a word (or two). This is really good. The aroma jumps right out of the glass. Fresh raspberries with a mild bready malt aroma behind it. This is expounded upon on the palate. Mashed raspberries berries with honey drizzled on top. The bready and biscuity malt base is a sufficient backdrop for the perky fruit tones. Spritzy carbonation and medium bodied, this beer is a perfect summer quencher...especially if you like fruit beers.

I am not a big fan of fruit beers. That is because it is hard to find a well made fruit beer. Most are artificial and syrupy and difficult to drink. That is not the case with this beer. This is a gem of a raspberry ale.
A-Golden colored...decent clarity...minimal head...
S-Fantastic aroma of fresh, sweet raspberries....the honey and/or belgian malt adds an extra twist and really complements nicely on the aroma.
T-Here is where I figured to find out if this was decent. So many are either sickly sweet (Leinie Berry Weiss) or fizzy and lacking in flavor (like a flavored seltzer water)...this is neither. It has an outstanding fresh raspberry flavor up front, against a sturdy but not heavy handed honeyed toasted maltiness. The Belgian malts used appear to have added a nice dimension to this beer,
M-Smooth....light bodied but not thin or watery....finishes with a light touch of honey...excellent aftertaste.
D-This is a hell of a beer. Glad I bought the growler. Wish I had about 5 or 6 more. This is the total package for a summer fruit beer....it has a great aroma that pulls you in....a firm yet ligh tand smooth body...a great raspberry/honey maltiness...and an outstanding finish and aftertaste...
Simply stated...one of the best fruit beers I have had.
