A bottled version of a traditional German summer drink, a mix of beer and lemonade. In this case the mix is 50/50. I thought it might be like a liberally lemoned weiss. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Very light straw color - very fizzy, but no head at all. Surprisingly little lemon in the aroma. The flavor was no hops, no malt, all sickly-sweet lemon soda-pop. I should have known better when the label stated "malt beverage with natural flavor." Cloying and horrible.

This Fruit Beer poured a medium white head with fine-small bubbles that quickly dissipated. There was a lot of carbonation observed rising to the top. There was no lacing on the sides of my glass. This brew had a lemon aroma to it. The taste was syrupy in my opinion which I did not like. I did not taste any alcohol at all in this brew.

This brew pours a medium head of fine to large sized white bubbles and a macro swill looking carbonated straw yellow body. Strangely enough I got a sweet malt honey smell from its aroma. Wow the taste is something else again. Definately different. it starts off with a slightly fizzy mouthfeel then settles smoothly in the finish. No bite or linger aftertaste. It has flavors of sweet malt and honey. I didnt get the lemon in it though. A refreshing change from some of the other brews. Not bad at all. I am gonna have to give it a decent rating just on this fact. Very interesting brew this one.

Interesting.
Pours the color and consistency of apple juice. Kind of smells and tastes like that too. Very thin and kind of watery. The lemon shines through in a prominent way in that the beer is very fruity in taste -- though not exactly lemon. It's a very sweet taste -- and not very "beer-like."
It's an interesting treat. Might be cool in 6 oz amounts with dessert or for use in light cooking (salad dressing?)
