Jane is a dark reddish brown with no discernible head, really. She looks a bit like her name, plain...but intriguing somehow. The smell is of caramel and cinamon. Very nice and its making me thirsty. The taste is smooth (is that a flavor?) and has oak notes. It's dry, with a pepper finish and a hop aftertaste. Very balanced and mild. Just enough hops to be a pale ale but very, very subtle. The mouthfeel is soft, with nice carbonation and not at all heavy. Again, very balanced. The drinkability is phenomenal. I could drink these all night. All cold, snowy night. Well done!
