The bike theme continues. Pours a more sunny yellow color (very similar to the pale). Like most of Wildcreek beers very hazy. A puffy head when arrived but did fade quickly and left next to no lacing.
The smell is husky with some light grainy notes. Limited overall but some underlines of basic malt notes and a touch of honey. Some noticeable corn and oxidization but not over powering.
The taste is more noticeable, but not in a good way. The best way to describe this is a corn bomb. Any hints of malt are over shadowed by a corny, DMS flavor mixed with a cardboard flavor on the back end. Sure blondes can have corn but this is a bit over the top. As it warmed some husky notes came out but really hard to get past the off flavors. Same with a light citrus hop finish.
The body is watery with not much texture. Similar to all of Wildcreek beers. Overall this is a bit difficult to finish. Easy enough to drink just the flavor is such a deterrent.
