Served on-tap in the taproom.
A - Pours chill hazed golden yellow with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving small webs of lace on the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of lightly toasted grain, bit of pepper, some must from the yeast and finally the chamomile.
T - Starts off with some peppery spice and musty yeast quickly being joined by the chewy grain some mild fruitiness and chamomile tea. Finish is a mix of chewy and spicy, lingering long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Chewy, yeasty feel with a bit of spicy pepper.
O - A nice saison, a bit more restrained this time around. Glad I gave it another go.

Growler poured into a standard pint glass. The brew appears a clear pale yellow color with a white frothy head that holds strong.
The aroma contains notes of yeasty appeal reminescent of clove, pear and cracked black pepper. Not much in the way of grain or alcohol, this is all about the yeast.
The taste is equally spicy and dominated with saison phenolics. However, there is also a dry biscuit grain touch and herbal hops. A faint plastic-hint is noted in the aftertaste.
This is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Overall not a bad saison thats fairly easy ti approach. It isn't spring house's best attempt but also isnt their worst try at this style.
