Draft offering at the taproom by springhouse. The brew appears black in color with a tan cap that leaves a full wall of lacing effect.

The smell is earthen with roast and not much else until it starts to warm up and breath. The taste is strong of coconut and vanilla with minimal coffee roastiness and bitterness. This might be the most coconut forward flavored dark beer ive ever had but still retains some cohesiveness with the other character.

This is medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall a decent brew that delivers as expected from these guys. At times the coconut almost had an artificial feel to it that I could see becoming taxing if you tried to drink multiple pints of this.
