On tap at the Taproom, the brew appears a hazed pale yellow with a big white frothy cap that coats the glass with lace. A swirl revives the cap back to a finger's strength and retains quite well.
The aroma includes notes of lemon and the orange character does come through just a bit before the focus changes back to that lemony coriander scent. It is also grassy and quite yeasty with almost a veggy aspect towards the back.
The flavor is grassy like the aroma suggested and a bit lemony with an earthy bitterness. A sweet candy element is present which is a bit peculiar before the onset of some chemical/mineral character that is reminescent of chlorine.
This is a medium to light bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is interesting and a unique offering that isnt that bad. I hope I get the chance to try the rest of the saisons in the series because I am sure they will get better as they work out the kinks in the recipe.
