Random wednesday trip to the grove just to try this beer and their new centennial hopped IPA. Unfortunately the person just before me got the last full pour of this, so I had to make due with a taster filled with the last goodness squeezed out of the keg.
The nose on this is just rediculous. Packed full of fresh juicy peaches almost to the point of not believing that this could possibly be natural. But I know its gotta be because SGB would only use natural or organic proccess in their beer. Impressive to say the least. Towards the back are faint notes of brett, wood and an overall earthy feel.
The taste is crazy fruity with peach juice and pulp before an earthen feel of brett, lacto tartness and barrel character come into play. This is pretty peculiar in that when you take a small sip, its all about the fruit and sweetness but if you take a larger sip into your mouth, its more sour and earthy.
This is a creamy yeast and fruit pulped filled offering that is on the heavier side of medium body and moderately carbonated. I just cant wrap my head around how the listed beers were blended together and created this. Its almost more fruity than their standard "peche saison" and the sourness of this is cleaner and more enjoyable than any of their prior attempts at barrel aged sours (that I got to try.) Im chalking this up as a very successful brew for them and hope to see more experimentation of this sort. I have mixed feelings though on how big a serving size id be able to handle as even my partial pour seemed enough.

On draft at Selins Grove. Orange bodied beer with thick creamy white head with good retention and thick lacing on the glass. Boatload of peaches and mild funk in the aroma. Tastes more sweet than sour; more like a light tartness and heavy peach syrup. Not a completely authentic peach flavor here. The tripel base beer is able to push its weight around as well boast sweet belgianesk flavors. A medium bodied beer with low but adequate carbonation. Creamy carbonation. Wish this was a little more dry. Good worth a try if you luck out and the brewery has it, but you don't need to go out of your way for this peach wild.
