Poured from a growler into a mug: color is brown with amber edges, head is very light tan that presents about 1/4 inch thick then dissipates to a ring.
Smell is very neutral and subdued, hints of chocolate and toast with light earthiness, not of putting just not emphatic.
Taste is very good, thought not exactly similar to many other porters, more of a brown ale, but the flavors are pleasant: neutral malts with lean towards chocolate and toast, then some light hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is very good, not too sweet and not over bitter or harsh, fairly clean... i remember it being nicely carbonated fresh off the tap this was a little less so.
Overall, a solid porter that leans to the brown ale style in many ways, but very tasty.

This is the lightest-color porter I've ever seen - it's the color of a brown ale with no head at all. Thankfully, it tastes much better than it looks - predominantly sweet chocolate and caramel with some dark fruit. Nothing amazing but not bad either.

Draft offering at selinsgrove served in their classic pub pils glass or whatever it is. The brew appears brown in color with clarity around the edges. A fizzy khaki head dissolves quick leaving spotty lace on the glass.
The smell is very raisony with quite a fruited aspect before melding to roasty chocolate scents. By and large, this porter is very fruity feeling.
The taste is equally fruity with notes of cherry and raisons. A very clean feeling otherwise with a roasty chocolate aftertaste and seemingly no bitterness.
This is medium in body and lightly carbonated. It's an ok porter that im not quite sure what they were going for here. I was anticipating them showcasing the advertised malt character with this but instead it seems completely yeast/alcohol driven. Unique.
