This was served via the hand pump firkin at SGB. It appears a clear golden copper color with a white head that fades leaving patchy lace.
The nose is herbal and soapy with a little yeasty quality imparting an overall green feeling to this. The flavor even displays some green yeastiness and almost a hint of plastic towards the back. It is herbal and grassy but lots of sweetness like caramel malt and a bit of strange buttery character.
This is medium bodied and lightly carbonated from the beer engine delivery. Im a big SGB fan but this is probably the weakest ipa offering ive had from them. Not a fan of this one, im not sure what went wrong. Hopefully this batch only tastes "off" via the firkin and maybe the standard draft version is better? I'll need to investigate and update this review accordingly if presented the opportunity.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
