Copenhagen 21/2 2020. 75 cl bottle from Ølhandleren in Give (Webshop). With wax seal and a cork stopper. Usual heavy Baladin bottle with their design in orange.
Pours hazy golden orange with a lot of sediments whirling about. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense and very sweet with light sour notes. Honey sugary sweetness. Marzipan. Caramel. Wet cardboard. Metallic edge of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense and heavy sweet. Followed by a light sourness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet. Lingers for a while.Lightly boozy finish.
Lives up to its name with a heavy honey flavoring. But if you like your toast with honey this might be for you.

330ml pour at Open Baladin Rome. Entering review from notes.
Pours dark honey color with a medium sized fizzy head. Lots of carbonation. Moderate haze. Smell is honey and grapes, fruit salad. Taste is white grapes, maybe golden raisins with honey on top. Light earthy notes. Mouthfeel is surprisingly light, smooth, clean. Overall, interesting and enjoyable.

Shared 750 ml bottle, imported to Germany by BraufactuM. Bought at Citti-Markt Flensburg. Orginal bottle No. 42311. German bottle No. 313. ABV is 9%. Cloudy orange colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of honey and herbs. Plenty of carbonation. The flavour is not nearly as sweet as I feared, but has distinct notes of heather honey and various herbs. Unusual and interesting.

Golden to orange, little murky, not much of a fine white head
Belgian yeast character, crackery malt
Floral taste, pilsener malt, alcohol, a bit sweet at first but drying out to the end
Fine carbonation lifting a medium body, some alcohol burn
Good stuff from Baladin as usual. Not great and not too much honey.
