Another Alpine holiday legend is the Christmas witch, or frau perchta, a bright, terrible being flying through the dark night sky on the lookout for those not keeping order in their lives. We have made a beautiful and seductive saison in honor of the frau.

12oz can with no date. Opened 12-19-21.
Day 3 of the 12 Days of Krampus.
2 finger white head with a fine bead and excellent retention.
Opaque peach-gold color with a bit of sediment. Full lace.
Nice yeasty, powdery perfume. Spicy with a nose full of ripe apricot.
Big stone fruit and spice on a clean malt base. Grapefruit peel bitterness.
Bright entry with a light body and medium-high carbonation. Tasty, dry finish.
Very Good to Outstanding.

Poured from can into tulip good 3+ cream colored head, recedes slowly, good lacing. Pale golden in the glass, clear with slight chill haze. Citrus on the nose and muted Belgian esters. Taste follows the nose, citrus up front, slight juicy fruit from the yeast, not overpowering but there, picking up a spice on the finish, coriander? not sure, slight spiciness at the end. A little too much carry over sweetness for me, would like to have seen this one with a crisper finish. Drinks well though
Edit:
I upped the rating. As it warms the spiciness takes it up a notch. Really enjoying this
