This arrived as a good-looking yellow and gold, without much head or lace.
The smell hints at the hop content, while the taste confirms it. The hopping levels are somewhat similar to that of an ESB. They're very noticable, but they make no attempt to take over the rest of the beer. The mouthfeel is a little plain, but the drinkability is quite high for the alcohol levels present.
This is a nice beer. It doesn't have much fanfare, just a good solid taste.
