Deep amber color, nice fluffy off-white head. More of an earthy roasted smell, than their red horse offering. Less sweet malt taste, again more earthy rich tasting. Medium to full bodied. Decent finish, lingers for a while, then slides away. Definitly less sweet malty taste, and more roasted earthy tastes through the entire beer. I think this is what Killians and some others aim to be.
