Ivory foam, very abundant and with a creamy consistency, very persistent and medium-fine texture; deep amber color, almost coppery, high turbidity.
The malt has caramel notes; citrus hops that goes well with the aroma of bitter orange; yeast esters bring a vinous and spicy aroma; clearly perceptible alcohol.
The taste of malt varies between caramel and licorice; the hop is citrus but not very perceptible; the vinosity and the spices of the yeast return; heavy body, alcohol is well present and warming; high carbonation but pleasantly fine; the orange peel is felt in closing with a good persistence; bitter and slightly astringent finish. it is a high fermentation beer with spelled and bitter orange peel: it should stand out for its originality, but it does not quite succeed. Despite the hops and peels try to counter the impetus bringing a certain freshness and astringency to beer, malt and yeast dominate. Overall it is a challenging beer, to drink during a winter evening accompanied by cured meats and aged cheeses; not for all palates, but still remarkable.

Pours and opaque dark amber with 3-finger head, leaves a little lacing. I smell citrus, orange, biscuity malts, and yeast; it has a vaguely sour character. Taste is bitter orange, bread and apple, with a nice sweet aftertaste. It feels very smooth, with little carbonation.
This doesn't feel like a Saison; it's not really earthy or funky. It's closer to a regular pale ale, with orange thrown in.
