A rich bronze in colour, this high-end best bitter had a wonderfully estery taste packed with marmalade and citrus notes, nice malt body and a citrus aroma that clearly indicated American hops.
A note: I twice reread the shield on the pump handle at Charters in Peterborough - it read Kaleidascope, although most of the notes you'll find on the ale have it spelled Kaleidoscope (the proper spelling of the word).
