On cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen. Pours a murky brown with smallish head that leaves some lace. Nose is more malty than hoppy, as you'd expect. Apparently, this is made with Cascade, Simcoe, Comet, and Apollo hops, but they don't really come through...although I'm not sold on that combo for an old ale to be honest. Taste is actually maltier than the nose. Drinks big and thick for a 5.2% beer. Toffee, raisin, light brown bread, and just a touch of yeast. Not really vinous or twangy like you'd expect from an old ale. The malt bill is complex, but doesn't quite do it for me.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
