Very pale and very clear body. Lager-esque. Nice head with loads of lace.
Some citrus hops in the nose, not a lot else. Quite 'flat' smelling.
Medium body and interesting flavours. Banana initially, oak and vanilla. Quite a sweet malt. The hop profile, full of banana and vanilla somehow seems to add to the sweetness - bitter sweet. A nice mix but some how the whole lot is a tad lifeless. Like a pasteurised cheese after a day of raw milk cheeses. Nice flavours, but a bit dead.
Highly drinkable.
Apparently this beer has been "Krausen-ised" or "Krausened". I've not come across this before, but reading up on it explains the clarity of this beer. Although it probably should have been livelier.
Very drinkable, very pleasant.
