6-pk cans, poured into a pint glass.
L - Pours a hazy, golden color with a generous layer of soapy, white head that keeps its retention throughout
S - Honey, banana, bready malt, citrus, specifically orange and lemon, not much hop presence
T - Follows the nose as very sweet-forward, the honey, malt, and orange stand out the most. There’s only a slight bitterness to it, but it’s mostly a syrupy sweet sip throughout.
F - Light-to-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sticky finish but overall drinkable.
O - I like the concept and design, but it’s what’s inside the can that counts. This drinks like Barrio’s flagship Blonde Ale but with a dose of sugary, citrus sweetness, which could be good to some, but I was hoping for little more of a hoppy presence.
