On tap, this years version looks to be slightly different from prior years/seasons. Abv is listed as 4.8%. Served in a pint, this brew appears a hazy yellow with a thin white cap of lace. A swirl releases a few bubbles back to the surface.
The smell of this brew is a bit perfume-like with peaches. At times it smells quite natural but other whiffs reveal a bit of artificial aspect. Some sulfur is noted along with grass and herbs. Quite fruity sweet smelling overall.
The taste is fruity with peaches that are quite natural in flavor and don't carry that unique artificial quality like some fruited beers do. Sulfur is intermingled with light accent of grass. Wheat is present with a cereal grain sweetness that has a light tangy aspect.
This is a light bodied brew with a modest level of carbonation. It is light and easy drinking with a pleasant peach addition that accents the wheat base nicely without being overpowering.

Marvelous, foamy, bubbling, bone white head. Color was a cloudy lemon-yellow. Nose left no doubt as to the presence of peaches from nearby Heller's Orchard, just down river. Mouthfeel was medium with a lovely tartness borne of peaches. Finish had a great tartness that was reminiscent of Lindemann's. Yummy.

On tap at One Guy/Berwick Brewing Co. on 10/31/09.
A - Displayed a hazy, effervescent pale wheat-colored body with peach tones and one-finger creamy off-white head that settled into a patchy film and left sparse lacing around the glass.
S - Fresh, juicy peaches with a hint of sweet syrup and mild fruity, citrusy hops.
T - Juicy peach with lots of bready malt flavor. Pretty sweet overall, but there are also faint bitter hop notes and a mild fruity sourness present, just to add a bit of complexity to the otherwise peach-forward flavor.
M - Medium bodied with lively, bristly carbonataion and a slight syrupy texture. Finishes sweet with mild bitterness on the tongue.
D - Peach Wheat is a great fall session beer that's not too sweet or overly peachy. Hopefully Guy will start brewing this more often, as it definitely ranks up there as one of his best beers.

On tap at the One Guy taproom. Served in a shaker glass. Appears a slightly hazy golden amber color with a solid finger of off white foam. Smells and tastes of farm fresh peaches. Nothing artificial here. This batch was made from the best tasting freshly picked local white and yellow peaches available. There are also notes of bread/biscuits (peach cobbler anyone?) and lightly toasted caramel malt, but this beer is all about the peaches. Very refreshing with an extremely pleasant tartness. Medium in both body and carbonation. I could drink this all day long. Can't wait until the next peach harvest.

Thanks to Clockworkorange for securing me a growler of this before it vanished from the taps!
A-Orangish-golden with peach highlights-duh! A thin white head receded into a thin ring and left spotty lace.
S-Like sniffing a fresh cooled peach pie. Peaches and biscuity dough....mmm.
T-A tangy and juicy peach onslaught to the taste buds. No hops at all....but who cares this one isnt about hops...it is all about the fruit. A nice support of biscuity wheat malt somce in the back things up.
M-Medium-light bodied with a nice acidic zing. Never becomes cloying or overly sweet.
D-No extract or concentrate used here sir. No, this one is 100% PA grown peaches and blended with the finest wheat malt for your drinking enjoyment. An absolute treat. Well done Guy! A most pleasant harvest time quencher.

This pours a pale apricot color with a small white head. It is made with over two bushels of fresh peaches from a local orchard. The traditional European wheat beer is light and tart - as fresh as summer.
I'm not really a fruit beer fan, but putting that out of my mind, I really enjoyed this brew. It wasn't as thin as some fruited beers can be - perhaps due to the fact that it is unfiltered, and because of those fresh, juicy peaches.
