A: Poured from a growler. An aggresive pour yeilded a small late forming sudsy head that quickly dissipated. A light water based orange color shows a whisper of effervesce with a good clarity. No window dressing.
S: On aroma there was whole peeled oranges with a light, spicy and musky flowery scent. The delivery is light and subtle at first, but the hops are there and appreciable, some pine, perfumy dried tulips, with a small hint of lemon straw and toasty oak.
T: The flavor is sweet and spicy, lightly dry flowery hops is balanced nicely with a toasty sweet grain base. Light hint of flowery lemon, oaky orange, and a smooth rounded tartness that is gentle and forgiving. Flowery and spicy orange bite of hops come on the close and on warming.
M: Medium body, slick and lightly syrupy. Warming flowery orange hops give a gentle glow. Carbonation is quiet on this one, used to some snap and fizzle per style but thats ok.
D: Drinkability is very good, easy, especially at 7.0%, just begging for more. Gently dry and enjoyable.
