Poured from a cork and caged 750 into a snifter, the beer is a deep, vibrant, copper-gold coloring with a wispy, sparse, white surface coat of head, and a ton of carbonation action throughout the body. Aromas of toast, honey, caramel, woody notes, subtle berry sweetness, floral and herbal highlights, and some earthy notes. Flavors are rich and sweet forward, with honey and caramel blending with subtle berry and fruit notes, all with a spice backbone of sage, cardamom, and grains of paradise. Some bready notes in there, as well. Full bodied and smooth despite all the carbonation action. The aftertaste is subtle sweetness, all leading into a clean, crisp, slightly dry finish.
