Aged in 25 year old bourbon barrels for 18 months. Switched to maple bourbon barrels for 8 months with cardamom. Then Augies cold brewed coffee added when kegged.
Maple shines with a light cardamom and coffee flavor. Would have liked more coffee and cardamom to cut the sweetness from the maple. Smooth and lighter mouth feel. Does not taste like 13.5% at all. Overall a flavorful BBA Stout but would have benefited from a stronger coffee taste.

Pugachev's Cobra aged in maple bourbon barrels with cold brewed coffee and cardamom.
Served on tap at Pugafest 2015. Lots of green coffee bean and peppery accents.
