12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass
color is motor oil black with tan foam
smell is heavy rye barrel up front, minimal vanilla ,chocolate and maple syrup..as it warms up..more vanilla in the nose is noticeable
taste is dominated by the rye barrel, faint vanilla , caramel and chocolate . no maple syrup
carbonation is low and mouthfeel is a bit light
a nice BA stout but lacks the flavors it promises on the label
