On tap at the brewery's 2nd anniversary party 6/5/2010. This was another of the 4 pilot batches released later in the afternoon.
Pours black with some brown showing through. It pours murky and with some beige head. Moderate retention but not much lacing.
Aroma is roasty and coffee like with a bit of sweetness.
Flavor is very much of an Irish dry stout with a bit of sweetness and a faint hint of blueberries (apparently locally picked). Dry, roasted coffee, and burnt flavors dominate. Low/medium bitterness and quite smooth.
Light bodied and quite drinkable.
