On tap for The Full Pint 6th Anniversary Celebration held at 38 Degrees in Alhambra, CA.
Billed as a blend of Pugachev's Cobra (No. 3), Hammerhead (No. 4), and Slow Roll (No. 6).
Pours a murky honey brown with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, caramel, bourbon, and wood aromas. Taste is much the same with bourbon and wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of woody bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is a tasty blend of the three Barrel Roll beers but it's quite strong.
