Notes From The Menu: This, The 7th beer in the GSB - LIMBE PRO - AM series is near and dear to all of us in the craft beer world. Brewed with cinnamon, clove, Vanilla and some of the hottest peppers you can find, this stout is a celebration of life; share it with your family, your friends and all of your loved ones; before you take a sip, say "Cheers Ed! - 6.6% ABV.
Was eager to try this so I shot down to the brewery for a flight.
Smell was dominated by a light cinnamon and chocolate scent. Slight green pepper smell.
The Taste was the same with a hint of vanilla but the cinnamon is Sooo smooth an a slight pepper heat to it.
The feel was thin but creamy and went down easy. Super light carbonation.
Overall I was a bit scared after reading the referance of the hottest peppers cause I'm not good with Hot hot peppers but it was subdued. Nothing super crazy but it's worth trying. I had bomb and mexican cake and this one is up there but still has a ways to go. Was very very good. Super good on the cinnamon vanilla blend.
